IPhoto & PC Compatibility Question

Hello,

I am new to this site, looks great. Anyhow, my question is¨; can you dowload your digital photos to a pc based (windows) computer, then load them onto a usb memory stick, then load them onto your mac. Will they transfer?

I am out of the country and my memory stick card pro is only 512mb, but it´s much cheaper to buy one of the USB sticks, I´m just afraid that after I load them of a pc, that they won´t load on my mac, any suggestions? Thanks!

they should load just fine.

Memory devices like that (if formatted for windows) should function correctly on both windows and mac. I've heard that devices formatted for mac however, will only work on mac, and not windows as well.

You might also want to back up to CD or DVD if you get the chance.
