hooking up laptop to stereo

how would i go about doing this what do i need to buy basically is what im asking....Im looking to pump my itunes through my home stereo system.

I would tell you, but I like to use these Dummies things for tips on doing things:

You could do it using an simple cable to connect the two. But, I prefer the wireless method: if you buy an airport express wireless router, you can connect the router directly to your stereo and then use your wireless network to stream whatever is on your itunes directly to your stereo. I have it setup in my house and LOVE it! If you have some extra cash to spend you can even buy multiple routers for multiple stereos and be able to choose which room/stereo you send the music to. It's absolutely fantastic.
