I have a mac pro connected to a pc desktop via a cable router...all works fine.
I want to swap files over to my pc laptop from my mac so have connected an ethernet cable from my macs 2nd ethernet port to my laptops ethernet port (1st one is connected to the router)...but i can't see my laptop when going to Finder/Go/Connect to server.
Am i missing something?
The laptop connects to my other pc via wireless ok...an i thought the mac would be simple to set up.
Any help appreciated...thanks
