I have a Linksys signal booster which has been reacting with my relatively old Windows me 2000. It was working fine until a message came up saying: "The system has detected a conflict for IP address 192.168.1.3 with the system having hardware address 00:11:24:8A:F1:D6. The interface has been disabled." What does this mean, and how can I fix it ?

Thanks ~

It means DHCP on one of your computers took the ip address .1.3 before the conflicting computer. Change the Ip address of the computer that is malfunctioning to another address using static IP such as 192.168.1.8
