slow internet

Hey, im new to this site, but i thought you guys mite be able to help me out. ive got a netgear router, and my internet connection was fine, but my dad changed to a different provider, and now my internet is really slow, he has a xp laptop and vista study pc and its still fast. just wondering if there is some sort of setting thats slowing down my imac? thanks

Try it with a different browser, I had this sort of problem, and it works well with Firefox (www.getfirefox.com).
