Kinnexus for mac

My wife who is a realtor just switched to mac. She uses a program called Kinnexus 3.2 for mls searches. Kinnexus claims that client software is supported on the following operating systems:

Windows Vista
Windows XP (Home or Professional; Service Pack 2 strongly recommended)
Windows 2000
Windows ME
Windows 98 SE (Second Edition)

In addition they state that:
Kinnexus 3.2 client software may run but is not supported on the following operating systems:

Windows 98 (first edition)
Windows 95
Macintosh OS (with PC emulation)

"May Run" sounds promising. Does anyone know of anything that can be done to run this program on mac? What is PC emulation?

Using a program such as Parallels or VMware Fusion will allow you to run the program on the Mac OS. Hopefully someone can explain it a little bit more than me.
