This is my first post, so I hope you lot don't bite. LOL.

I've built a website in Dreamweaver and I'm looking to publish it online, but I only need it online for a week, and I don't have much cash at all - any one know of any trial runs on web hosters and have any tips on publishing my site, please?

Lunar pages offers a 30 day period where if you aren't happy in whatever way you get a refund so maybe you could try that? I use lunar pages for my site and found them helpful and reliable.
Apart from that ou could try a free host, I'm not sure of the limitations of the free hosts apart form it being quite restrictive and ad supported.

Why not make it available to the outside world from the web server on your mac (Apache) ?

The downside is people will only be able to access it when your mac is switched on.

If you don't find another solution, I can host it temporarily for you.
You'd have to publish your site to a local directory, zip it and send it to me.
The url would be something like www.webveteran.com/amywamy/
