Using Disk Utility, you can reformat almost any mounted volume to HFS/HFS+

but...why would you do this?
Only Mac computers will be able to read it, whereas if you keep the FAT32 format, all types of computers will be able to read it.

Oh...I see. You want to be able to save things in a Mac-only format, so your PC-using friends and relations can't see it. Nice! Are you a spy? :)

Hah, hardly a spy ^^ But well mostly I thought as smaller backup for very important or temporary stuff.
