I am using iMac 2.8Ghz, with 4Gig of RAM. I installed Windows Vista Home Premium today using bootcamp. After installing Vista, Vista only detected 3Gig of RAM in my iMac....Can anyone tell me what happen?

On the top of that the apple wireless keyboard doesn't seem to work spontaneously once Vista is started. But the wireless mouse works perfectly. Anyone know why?

My 2.4ghz MBP shows the same. 4gb of ram on the 10.5 side. Vista shows 3gb. I wonder why also...

I use the new style iMAC USB keyboard also. However mine works fine on the Vista side of my MBP. I don't use it to "alt"/ start BootCamp. I use the MBP's keyboard for that. I have to hit the "clear" key to activate the "num lock" but that's about it.

Probably because you're using 32-Bit Vista which can't address more than 3GB. You would need the 64-Bit edition for that.

Yup, that's it...32gb Vista loaded on mine. Not that I need 4gb of RAM to run QuickBooks. :)

Can bootcamp support 64 bit vista?

Not according to the directions... they say 32-bit only. According to Wikipedia:
"While it is possible to install 64-bit (x64) Windows operating systems on Intel Macs with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, the Windows x64 OS encounters difficulties with driver support in Boot Camp. The basic hardware used in most Intel Macs have drivers available for various OSes, including x64 versions of Microsoft Windows. However Apple specific hardware such as the built in iSight camera, Apple bluetooth, Apple track pad as well as software enhancements like Apple keyboard mapping and the screen brightness utility packaged with Boot Camp are written solely for x86 versions of Windows XP SP2 and Windows Vista and thus they do not work in the x64 versions of Windows."
