cant open dmg files

Hi i have imac g3 450, i have one dmg file in harddrive but i can not able to open it and when ever i try it say choose the appropriate application to open. the icon that reprsents the dmg file have PC label showing on it.

1 gig ram, 450 dv indigo, mac os 9.2 classic

All disk image files be opened by DiskImageMounter.app

If you right click on the file and select open with does that app come up as an option?

If so use that option. If you get problems with other dmg files use get into on the file and chose DiskImageMounter and Change all

You are on OS9 - I think if you can find a copy of Disk Copy 6.2 that might help - otherwise you might need Toast 5.1 if you have it
