Printer through PC

I have a wireless network in my house. The printer is hooked up to our Gateway Desktop in the office. My buddy has a PC Laptop and can print wirelessly fine, but when i try to print wirelessly i cant. Ive downloaded the printer drivers for Mac but what else do i have to do for it to be able to communicate with the printer?

well i just got something to happen but instead of printing what i had typed it printed a bunch of nonsence...diffrent words numbers symbols etc.

there is no help on this site....
