24'' iMac 2.8 GHz, 4 Gig RAM, 500 GB HD. 15.4'' MBP, 2.6 GHz, 4 Gig RAM, 200GB HD, iPhone 8GB.
I have an iMac 2.8GHz, 4Gb RAM and a MacBook Pro 2.6GHz, 4Gb RAM, I would like to know which version of windows vista will work best? Can someone kindly tell me, thanks.:)

P/S: I want to use Vista to run Microsoft Access, and occasionally play game with it. Most of the time, I will be just surfing the net, reading huge PDF files.

I'd use XP.. But if you really want to use Vista, I'd recommend taking a look at cost and possible what you'd want to do with it. I think Microsoft has a help me pick which version n their website. Or at least a comparison chart.

Has anyone ever tried running Vista Ultimate? Will it be slow even on a 2.8GHz with 4Gb RAM?

I've run Vista Ultimate on my 2GHz Core Duo MacBook under Boot Camp with 2GB RAM and it works fine, so i'm sure you'll have no problems running it with your iMac.

I just ordered a laptop and went with Vista Premium. It's has pretty much everything you'll need and it's pretty cheap (as far as Vista goes). This would be my recommendation. However since I haven't received it yet this is pretty much based off what I found on the net
