i have a nice laser printer i just got given (hp lj4000) - unfortunately it has no usb; parallel and network only.
i run the imac on a wireless network already, but the router is downstairs, and i don't want the printer in the front room!
given the imac has an ethernet socket also, is it possible to directly connect (maybe with a crossover rj45?) or do i need to add another box like a wifi print server/AP or even a usb to parallel? (sure i've seen these before...)
can't just move the router up without drilling holes i'm not allowed to...;D
