10.5 (October 5th) has come and nearly gone, did Apple miss the date for the launch that would have made sense to a lot of Apple Devotes :Grimmace: ?

But then again in Aussie Apple would be launching 5.10...not quite the same eh:D

It's only 10-4 here in the US. I forgot you were an Aussie and was freaked out for a second because I have an assignment due 10-4 and a test on 10-4. If it was 10-5, I'd basically have to drop that class. LOL.

No Apple did not miss the date, since they did not set the date yet. The current rumor is Friday the 26th.

I know that's most likely the launch date, but how amazing would it be if Apple just released it tomorrow? :sigh: A man can dream can't he? ;P

I would laugh very hard if Apple just released it out of the blue and didn't tell anyone... then get all Apple employees (retail included) to play dumb.

"What, Leopard? What's that? Oh yeah, new OS... Let me check... Oh, would you like to buy a copy? We have four hundred in stock..."

The funniest thing would be if they released it at the most random date just to throw everyone off like October 19th.
Just a random date without any meaning behind it what so ever.
