I recently got a PowerMac 8500 but only have a keyboard, no mouse and monitor. Cant find one anywhere either. I can hook the mac to the tv to set things up tough. it has Mac OS 8.xx, is there a way if i connect the mac to my network hub via its ethernet connection to remotely control it from my vista machine for now. Thanks in advance for your help

Any reason you chose the PowerMac 8500 with Os 8?

This is quite outdated hardware and software.

I don't remember there being a good vnc program for os8...you might be in a bind, seeing as even if there is software, it most likely is no longer supported.
