Saving web photos to iPhone?

24-inch iMac, 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme, 1 TB HD, 4 GB RAM
Any way to save photos directly to the iPhone while on a website, or can you only sync photos thru iTunes? Didn't see anything mentioned in the user guide.

You can't save anything through Safari or Mail. So yes, syncing would pretty much be the only way to do it.

There are third party solutions to download files onto the iPhone, but I haven't had a chance to check them out.
