Ipod artist disappearing?

Everytime im using the ipod then I pause to use other functions, then come back to the ipod screen, It automatically takes me to the artist page, but only the last artist I listened to is showed, if I click song or genre or any other ipod selection then come back to artist all artist are showing.

Does anyone know why this is?
