I changed my mail icon and whenever i close my mail app the icon switches back to the original one on the dock. Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Unibody MBP 2.4 GHz C2D/27" Core i7 iMac
Did you go to applications folder/find mail stamp/get info/paste new icon in upper left corner/drag original icon out of dock/drag new icon to dock?
