For quite awhile now, I've been wanting to network my All-In-One printer. Unfortunately, although this is possible, typically All-In-One printers need an actual USB connection in order to use the scanning functionality.

I ran across this little article at MDN yesterday and immediately ordered the device. It basically allows you to attach just about any USB device (including all-in-ones) across a network connection to multiple machines. It's a little pricey, but if it works the way it says it should, it will be worth it for me.

If anyone is interested, I'll update this thread once I get it. To me, this is an absolutely breakthrough device that will eliminate much frustration - especially for those people that are having printer driver issues when printing to a device across a network.
