Network Gateway

Hey,

I was setting up a wifi network, (im always used PC so im pretty noobish with mac), I seem to be getting stuck on the Gateway ip, all the other PC's work fine once i stick in the gateway address, but with a Mac im not sure how to do it,

any help would be great thanks!

MacBook Pro 2.8Ghz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD
Hi.

Just go into System Prefs.

Then Network

Then, from the "Show" dropdown, select the interface you want to configure (ie, airport, onboard)

Then, for Configure IPv4, change it to Manually.

Put in IP, Subnet, and the gateway would go in the 'Router' field.

Add the DNS and you should be good to go.
