Macintosh II Game

i'm trying to remember a game that came with the Macintosh II i used when i was a kid. it was in black and white, there was a weird Queen-type person who made a shrieking noise or a "WOO" or something as well as a hooded figure who would open his cloak and a weird cyclopse thing would pop out. the user had to push bricks or something like that in order to proceed through a gate, and they made an odd grinding noise. A couple of people have suggested that i am thinking of Shadowgate, but i looked at a few screenshots of it and that's definately not it. besides, i think Shadowgate would have been far too complicated for my former five year-old self...

was it Hobbit??
