i really doubt they are going to release the new iPods on Augs. i personally think they 'll do it after the Free iPod special is over. They are just trying to get rid of the ones they have to come out with the new one

I think closer to November would be better for Holiday sales reasons.

Honestly I don't see the point of apple releasing the new iLife until Leopard release, that would make more sense. But iMac's new design that sounds more feasible.

Just my 2 cents.

Do you reckon they will realease iLife 07 on the same day as Leopard??

it might be released as a package with all the Macs on Sale after Leopard is Unleashed.

But yeah that wouldn't be a bad idea. After all iLife is on of the greatly advertised attractions of OS X, so it will be a good idea to have the New OS with new revamped version of iLife.
