Vietnam Live Action

I went to my wifes Aunts house this past weekend, and we were all sitting around talking and the subject of Vietnam came up... Then we find out her uncle was in Vietnam he was on the front lines... He then tells me he shot a lot of home movies while he was out there... Then he shows me! Let me say Apocolyps now, Platoon none of these flicks are as good as these home movies... A lot of it is them in villages joking and stuff, then you see an occasional explosion in the background, choppers flying overhead... Then out of the blue he has footage of him and his platoon entering a jungle area and all heck breaks loose! He has easily 10 hours of live footage... He wants me to get them on DvD for him... So I asked him if I could posts clips on my message board and you tube, he was totally cool with it.. So stay tuned for some really awesome clips....

Wow, that sounds awesome. I'd love to see real footage. I've had friends whose uncles have told me stories about similar events, but to actually see video would be amazing.
