I haven't mailed a rebate in a while and I'm about to send one via USPS First Class Mail .41c postage stamp as stated from USPS website. As long as its under 1oz. The envelope is a little thicker since it has the UPC cardboard cutouts from two boxes. Do you think it will be machinable? Otherwise I have to pay the extra .17c. Anyone had any problems?

I would first check with the rebate company, I've heard stories about how they wouldn't accept anything mailed to them if it's not in a traditional envelope.

Interesting. The rebate is actually for my new MacBook w/ free printer and the rebate company is based in Indiana. I know the Post Office is becoming more strict on letters. I guess worse thing is it gets sent back to me and I pay the extra .17c IF it is non-machinable.
