twould be, but the battery on the iPod isn't replaceable, is it? I don't think it's going to be. I'm just hoping (if I ever get one) that it uses an SIM card compatible with other AT&T/GSM phones.

No replaceable battery, and some people are even saying it doesn't have a user-accessable SIM card.

The absence of a replaceable batter was a bit obvious, even tho its very bad decision on Apple's pat. I remember when I had the Treo 600 and it was horrible that it didn't have a replaceable batter.

But not having a user accessible SIM card, thats just WRONG.

Very wrong. That's one of the best features of being on this network! The iPhone is not so special that it can leave out a user-replaceable battery and accessible SIM card like every other Cingular phone EVER MADE!

The specs/pictures of the user manual posted yesterday confirm that the iPhone has a user-accessible SIM card slot.

i thing it should - although i dont know what it is going to have.,

i believe that the user should be able to put their sim and batts in it etc... - limits thier market if you cant.
