Apple/God is toying with me...

So... I'm a bit of a cellphone nerd. along with being a complete nerd. I love em. I quite recently bought the Samsung d807 (welll....before iphone info was released) and my 2 year contract ran out with Cingular in april.

I have just been ANXIOUSLY awaiting June. My birthday, Summer, The iPhone.

And then... a serious of unfortunate events landed my beautiful samsung virtually useless, no screen... etc.

Do you think you could get a phone for under $200? no. under $300? MAYBE.

so im using a GoPhone. 1990's technology. Monophonic ringtones.

You should have gone to eBay and gotten a cheap unlocked GSM phone. Would have set you back MUCH less than $200. Heck, some of those cheap phones on eBay are probably better than the GoPhone

The iPhone is less than a month away, just wait, monofonic tones aren't that bad. Just consider that maybe in two week you could be posting something like, "I got the iPhone, i'm no longer bonded the laws of mortals" or maybe "This post was made with an iPhone while i was laughing at primitive ways of comunication", well you get the idea.

It'll make using the iPhone that much sweeter when it happens.

Ditto. Always check e-bay first. I sold an awesome phone there a few months ago for only $45.00. And, there a many more even less than that.
