• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I used iMovie to make videos on youtube... I had an iMac before and never had this problem. I got my MBP today and this is the only way I can show you what happens.

1. I record my video.... you can see footage so the camera is obviously working.... and then I stop the footage and go to play it back and it's all white with no audio. Anyone know what's going on?

Go to system preferences, go to the sound tab, and click the input button at the top. Make sure that "Internal Microphone" on "Built-In" port is selected.

I called apple and they helped me fix it. It was kinda ridiculous. I had to go into my user and delete like 8,000 files. thanks!

just out of curiosity, whats your username on Youtube in case some people want to check out your vids? what topics do you do vids on? I've never done a video to upload to youtube before, cuz I have really no idea about a topic that I could do, that hasn't already been done.
