I finally bought myself a Macbook 2 weeks ago. I'm glad I finally did. I really didn't like Windows and the computers they ran on. They seriously have no style whatsoever. My Macbook and OS X has style AND runs great. Even though it has a 1.83 Ghz processor and 512 MB RAM (which I'll upgrade to 1 GB), it runs faster than my old laptop with a 3 Ghz processor and 448 MB RAM. The Macbook starts up in 10 seconds while my other laptop takes 1-3 minutes to start up.

I'm still learning about stuff I can do with a Mac. I'm hoping I can find some stuff here.

Nice, welcome. I'm loving my new mac, as well. I'm seriously considering ditching my PC altogether, buying a mac pro and 30" cinema display and calling it a day. :)

I was thinking about buying a large cinema display to hook up to my MacBook Pro, but recently I've been contemplating getting an HDTV w/ DVI instead, and just plugging that into the MacBook Pro. :)

Thanks for all of the welcomes!

Yes, this is my first Mac. Not the first time I've used one though. I use eMacs at school all the time.
