I managed to get Windows XP Pro to install on Bootcamp (after failing with a slipstreamed one).

But I cannot connect to the Internet via my Broadband router.

I can connect with OS X (Airport), but not XP. Can XP not detect the MacBook's in-built wi-fi? Do I have to use something like a USB dongle (which I do with my PC)?

Thanks for that suggestion.

I did use the drivers cd made by Bootcamp Assistant. Perhaps I shall run it again, as it not autorun and may not have installed everything.

No, as Bootcamp is on my original MacBook drive which is being used as an external drive at the moment.

Also, I was curious to see if XP would work on a USB drive (like OS X can) - it can't. :(
