Lacie Fire Wire Speakers

I'm after some speakers for use with my G4 iBook. Anyone use/have these speakers? What do you think?

Never seen them before. But Lacie stuff is usually really good quality.

Hmmm, I'm not sure... it seems as though they'll only work with a firewire connection...

That might save you another power brick, but it'll block your firewire port and might force you to buy another adapter to use them with non firewire devices.

Personally I'd stick to something more conventional - just to be on the safe side.
