neo-office install

hi can i get a sort of guide too installing neo-office i just downloaded it and i cant get it too work
i kinda need a step to step guide like pull it in the blablabla
really hope i can get one :)

What kind of problem are you having? As I recall, you just open the file (double-click) and then open the installer.

What kind of problem are you having? As I recall, you just open the file (double-click) and then open the installer.

Ditto here. I downloaded the DMG, Clicked on it and ran the install.

my problem is that it says that the installation can not be found in the volume's /application folder neooffice must be installed in the /application folder before i can install the language pack...

Umm, and IS NeoOffice in the Applications folder?

I think there might be some confusion here. While some applications install by simply dragging them to the Applications folder, NeoOffice is not one of them - it has an installer program (.pkg file) that you double-click, which in turn runs a setup wizard. Once the wizard completes, you'll find a NeoOffice icon in your Applications folder.

If you downloaded the right program file from the NeoOffice website, you double-click on it, which mounts it as a virtual drive. Open the virtual drive (this should happen automatically when you double-click the NeoOffice file) and then double click on the NeoOffice.pkg file to run the installer.
