How do you get the april fools Fake Desktop?
I think it was a Mac Addict thing, but i can no longer get the image to be completly full screen-
i have mac OS X.
any help?
i do Shift-Command-3 for the full screen snapshot.

You have the snapshot using command shift 3, put it in one of your picture folders. Set as desktop through System Prefs > Desktop > Choose folder.
Move the dock to one side and hide.

A screenshot just won't convey the joke.
Take a screenshot of your desk.
Make it the desktop background.
Change the location of the dock to the right side or left side (instead of the default bottom) and hide it.

The joke works especially well if you first put a bunch of aliases and folders all over the desktop -make it an utter mess.
When the person tries to click one of hte aliases or move them to the trash...nothing happens.
Freaking out ensues. :)
