Hi everyone,

I just noticed that when I save info to my USB flash drive in OSX it saves it as one file, but when I open it in XP there is an additional hidden file of the same name which has ._ added to it's file name. Does anyone know what this is for?

It's a file that OS X saves in a folder to tell Finder how to display the window. IT contains all of the window size settings, the background (if there is one), icon size, view type, etc.

you'll probably also notice that once you put it back on a mac, you may see some "hidden" windows folders and files.
