Reinstalling OS X on a partition

MacBook Pro 2.16ghz Core Duo | 1GB RAM | 100 GB HDD | 256MB ATI RADEON x1600
I currently have a Macbook Pro with a 20 gig partition for windows via Boot Camp.

I wanted to know if i was able to reinstall OS X with the restore disks onto my Mac partition, WITHOUT affecting the existing Windows partition.

Yes, you will be able to do this.

The OS X installer won't even "see" the Windows partition.
