Duplucates in Aperture

Ok I've been using Aperture for a week or so now and it's a great program and is exactly what I'm looking for in a photo editing application.

I have a few questions though.

1: Is there a way to get rid of all duplcate images within the program?

2: Does Aperture handle video at all?
