Voice Effect.

Can anyone help me figure out how to make a certain effect when working with a voice recording (real instrument) in garageband.

You can hear it here, Song "Wife Beater" a few seconds in, "Raise your hands and give it up"

It sounds kind of, electroish.

I wish I knew. I'm not much for that genre of music, but much of what I listen to uses similar effects. So yeah, I also would like to know...

On the vocal track you want to effect, open the track editor (the scissors), turn 'enhanced tuning' up to max and select 'limit to key'.
