network printer not printing

hi, i'm trying to print from my macbook through a network printer. i've got it all set up and have found the printer and everything, but every time i try to print off of it it says it's printing and then doesn't do anything, and clears from the printing queue. i've browsed through the forms and other places online and can't seem to figure out what's wrong. please help.
