Hi,

I just got my macbook and I plan on installing XP on bootcamp to play games once a while. Should I stop installing all my music, videos & pictures on the HD because I will have to reformat it to get an XP partition?

Can I install XP on an external drive and use it from there?

How do you install bootcamp/XP, can anyone give me simple steps (only been using a Mac for a few hours and maybe I'm a little dumb too... took me forever to find out which key what the "command" one!)

Thanks,
Stephan

PS: I know I need a SP2 disk

Thanks!

-"Boot Camp Beta is preview software licensed for use on a trial basis for a limited time."

Does that mean that after x days/week you have to pay for it?

The final version of bootcamp will be released when Leopard is released sometime before the fall (could be soon, could be later). Apple hasn't said what will happen to people who don't upgrade but there is a chance you will have to pay for it when Leopard is released if you choose to stick with Tiger
