Using iWeb without .Mac

Hey guys-

Is there a way I could post a blog or other web page I made in iWeb to the internet for FREE?

I just want to do this for fun, and I don't want to pay for a host or anything. Is there a way I could use one of those free web site things? Do any of you know any good ones?

On this page: http://www.apple.com/education/hed/students/tips.html#screenshot it tells you how to put you iWeb page onto your schools host or whatever, but I don't have access to anything like that!

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

That "Publish" button is only for .mac hosting.

You can however publish to a folder and then upload that folder to a hosting company. I don't believe you would be able to do this with any free sites, but I don't know, I get 2g of storage and three domains with my hosting company for dirt cheap...

Sign up for one of those free sites and see if there is any way to upload content to them.

how do you publich your 'folder' to the host? Is it as simple as uploading your CV onto a website for example?

You can publish to a folder and put it in your "sites" folder on your mac and host it from there.

That depends on what options your host has. As long as you keep the same folder structure created by iWeb it will work. If you can use FTP i would recommend it.
