My poor old ViewSonic 19" CRT lost several resolutions over the last few days, leaving me with 800x600... certainly not a pleasant experience. Today I fixed that problem and got this monitor. It was a display monitor, so I got some perks for getting it, such as a free DVI cable, and a pretty sweet discount. It's got picture in picture, composite and component video, S-video, DVI, and VGA. The built in 4-port powered USB 2.0 hub is a nice plus, too, allowing me to not have to lean over everything on the desk to get to the back of my mini. :)

Anyways, this freed up a TON of desk space, mainly because I have my PS2, my Mac, and my PC all plugged in at the same time. This monitor would be perfect if it had a remote to change inputs.

Looks like you got a nice monitor.

I'm actually looking at 26 to 32 inch LCD TV monitors for my next purchase. All of them have HDMI and VGA, some have DVI, but DVI to HDMI converters are like $5 each. My Quad had both DVI-D and VGA so I have some options. The monitor prices range from $399 to $99 so it's a pretty wide field.

It's pretty sweet, certainly nothing to sneeze at. Now all I need is bluetooth support on my PC so I can use my Apple keyboard & mighty mouse, freeing up even more space!

I'll be sure to post an updated pic in the setup thread, just as soon as I get everything cleaned up a bit... ;)
