Recording mixes in Ableton with iMac

I have tried to record a mix in Ableton using a few programs such as Audacity, Bias Peak etc but they only have the option of recording the Line In. I only use the soundcard built in to the iMac and nothing I've tried has the option to record the audio produced by it.

Any ideas ?

If your wanting to record sound from your sound card give Wire Tap Pro a try, it works very well for recording from the computer.

just open an new audio channel in abelton and record from there set the i/o of that channel from the master of ableton
