turntable and vcr to iMac

how do i connect my turntable (for vinyl) to my iMac audio imput? is there a cable that will do that? and same for my VCR... is there a cable that will connect to video input? (so i can capture from vhs).

I gave up on the turntable. The quality issues were too hard to overcome. And I ordered a turntable that outputs directly to MP3.
