flash (mini) drive between Imac and Emac

I would like to copy data or music between an Imac (OS 9) and an Emac (OS 10). What flash (mini) drives are compatable with both to be able to transfer the data? Also is special software needed?

2.53 GHz MBP, 4 GB RAM, 320 GB HDD
Any jump drives are capable of flipping between the two. I use jump drives between 3 macs and the PC at school with no problems. And no special software is needed for a mac.
