I do a lot of webdesdign so i like to have a working platform running, however i prefer not to n my local machine iMac G5.

So tomorrow i am going to rummage through my old PC stock I have an old 800mhz Pentium base unit I am going to buy the Linux Distro Clark Connect on, hardwire it to my ADSL router, so I can set up my mail server, web server and VOIP.

The question is, how easy is it to map a network drive to it, as I was going to install a USB backup drive to it and map a drive to it from the mac and use a backup program to backup to it.

Is it the case of just mapping the IP address or is it a bit more complicated than that?

And is there VOIP softwware available for the mac that will allow me to connect to it?
