is bootcamp better for bigger programs than parallel?

MacBook 2.2Ghz, 4GB RAM, 160GB HD
is bootcamp better for bigger programs than parallel? if so, then when i boot up on to windows from bootcamp, will my computer run as fast as a 1.4 mac or a 1.4 windows ?

If you're using Bootcamp then you are running Windows and it's running however fast Windows would run on that hardware.

In theory, Bootcamp would be more efficient for running programs than Parallels since Parallels is running Windows from within OS X so you're essentially sharing all resources between to different OSes.

Using Bootcamp, you're only running Windows and all resources would be available to you.
