I installed Vista RC1 recently on my Macbook Pro and it installed fine. I tried to then install the drivers that I made from Bootcamp and the install kept giving me a fatal error towards the end of the driver install.
I checked out my firmware version thinking that may be the issue, my current firmware is:
Boot ROM Version: MBP21.00A5.B01
SMC Version: 1.14f5
I then checked Apple's site and it appears I have a different firmware than what the website says the "latest" is, which is:
Boot ROM Version: MBP12.0061.B03
SMC Version: 1.5f10
I downloaded the latest firmware update but the installer told me that I do not need the update and it closes itself.
Any ideas/help on my problem will be appreciated, thank you!
