Is there any way to increase the partition size on either parallel or bootcamp of an already windows installed drive without having to reboot windows? I've got both on my mac, but I need more space so I can install a VERY large program to run.

Thanks,

I can't speak for Boot Camp.

With Parallels, you can add more space to the Virtual Machine but it will show up as an extra drive. If you wish to expand the original size of your Parallels environment, you need to reinstall the entire OS.

Re: Boot Camp:

Users can't currently create additional partitions, or change partition sizes after it has been set. The only option Boot Camp allows is to restore the disk back to one single Mac partition. It does this by deleting the Windows partition and expanding the Mac partition to the full size of the drive.

Sweet! I was unaware that you could do that in Parallels.

I'll have to give it a try...
