Hi all - I've got an M-Audio MIDI keybaord with a MIDI cable plugged into my io-2 USB sound card which is plugged into my Macbook. Now, I'd like to do some MIDI sequencing and the sound card came with a copy of Cubase LE so I', sorted for software. The problem is I haven't gotten into Cubase yet; my friend has a degree in music production and is coming over at some point in the future to show me the ropes. In the meantime, is there any easy way I can test if my MIDI setup is wokring okay? I.e. something where I can hit the keys on my keyboard and it plays some sounds . . . just so I know everything "just works". I'm sure it does as I got a huge number of errors generated when I had it rigged up on my PC.
