print driver always reverts to COLOR

If I print a B&W document on my printers (Epson and HP inkjets), the next document always reverts back to the Color setting. THis sucks as I always have to reset it to B&W.

I know this is a ploy to get us to use ink, but what is the solution to fix it once and for all. I know on older PCs, you could set it and it stayed.

I would only put the black and white cartridge in the printer leaving out the color one.

You need to set up a preset for b&w and set it as the default
