Booting Osx

I have done a search and found people with this problem but could not find an answer.
I removed xp by using the bootcamp asistant to restore to a single partition, all went well. When i boot my computer and it gets to the grey screen i get a question mark where the apple logo should be, it then changes into the apple logo and continues to boot normally.

Anyone know how to fix this.

Already tried that but it does not make any difference.
